Yesterday, before I rushed out the door, I pushed a tampon into the back pocket of my jeans. It wasn't until much later in the afternoon after I had walked around Melrose and the Santa Monica Pier that I noticed it was conspicuously poking out of the top of my pocket for all the world to see that it was that time of the month for me.
